Do you believe in climate change? Climate Change is defined as a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular, a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels. There is an overwhelming scientific consensus on the existence of climate change as well as a boatload (not a scientific term) of evidence. Increasingly stronger storm systems and record temperatures are about as right in front of your face as it’s going to get for now, but the scientific community warns that things could get significantly worse. Or maybe you don’t believe in Climate Change, I mean, it still snows right? They used to call it Global Warming, then they changed it to Climate Change, and now it’s the Climate Crisis. Perhaps you believe it’s all just a branding exercise or a Liberal scare tactic or even a Chinese hoax to kill big business and restrict the free market.
It has been widely noted that somewhere between 97% and 99% of scientists with an opinion on climate change seem to believe it is real. Is it possible that the overwhelming majority of scientists are wrong on this one? We know President Trump thinks it is a Chinese hoax as he has said in the past. What do you think about it? Whatever the case, whatever your opinion, I’m guessing it’s a strong one. Because the climate affects us all.
