We are living through a day and age in which the credibility of the media and its relevance is under constant attack from all sides. There are more choices than ever and methods from which we receive our news in modern times. Where once we had to rely on the daily newspapers or nightly television news, we now have 24-hour cable news networks and radio shows, and websites dedicated to politics and news. Whatever you're political leaning is, there's likely a news source or an opinion journalist to align with. There is sometimes a gray area between news and commentary or opinion or in some cases entertainment.
The very first 24-hour cable news network was CNN which launched in 1980. In 1996 FOX NEWS joined the 24-hour cable news network game and has been a competitor ever since. Which is your favorite cable news network? Do you prefer the conservative lean of FOX NEWS or the more moderate and centrist approach of CNN?
