Who will be the Republican Presidential nominee in the next election? While it's true that Incumbent Presidents are seldom challenged we have heard rumblings from a few potential challengers for the Republican nomination in 2020 like William Weld of Massachusetts. There is also the distinct possibility, however slight, that the current President Donald Trump could be removed from office by 2020 or choose not to run again.
Who do you think would step in to grab the mantle were any of those possible outcomes to transpire? Perhaps Mitt Romney would want to run again? How about the father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Mike Huckabee? Let us not forget or count out the current Vice President, Mike Pence. How about former Ohio governor John Kasich? There really are a whole host of possibilities, maybe you think someone else not even represented on our list. Let us know. We want to hear from you and know your opinion.
For now, Donald Trump is the President of the United States and doesn't look to be stepping aside anytime soon. Not to bias the results of this poll, but after seeing Trump destroy all comers and effectively muzzle and own even the most so-called powerful Republican congressmen since becoming president, we really don't see any serious challengers coming his way.
