Should President Trump work on infrastructure with Democrats or hold off until they stop investigating him? This will for sure be a hotly contested and perhaps controversial topic. But should it be?
Infrastructure shouldn't be a partisan issue, should it? Are there Democrat bridges or Republican roads? Don't we all rely upon the country's infrastructure to make our lives better in the United States, regardless of our political beliefs? Or do you think the president is just playing his brand of hardball with the Democrats and smartly using our nation's infrastructure as leverage to get those pesky Democrats off his back? No matter how you feel about him, Trump is not one to back down from a fight.
That being said, what once seemed like a simple topic has been hyper-politicized in today's 24-hour news cycle just like everything else. President Trump has vowed not to work with Democrats in the House unless they cease investigating him, but the two topics are not related, nor need they be mutually exclusive. Or do you have an alternative opinion? Are the ongoing House investigations getting in the way of another glorious Infrastructure Week at Pennsylvania Avenue? We want to know what your opinion is.
